BTC Members,

We have received our updated permit for 2020, however new issues have come to light over the past 24 hours. The City of Toronto has removed all liability surrounding COVID-19 from them and placed it squarely on the shoulders of the club and club executive. Therefore, the executive could all be held personal liable. This, of course, is a significant risk. The STF has strongly recommended that all clubs do not open tomorrow.

As such, memberships will be temporarily suspended and BTC will remain closed until we get further clarification.

We understand that we are all eager to play, so we will work as quickly as possible to get more answers and will advise you as soon as we have additional information.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this difficult time.

It's official! BTC will be opening on Monday May 25, 2020. After much anticipation, we are glad to hear this news.

Memberships are available now online only. Payment can be made online or by e-transfer.

Once confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the lock code. Please do not play until Monday May 25.

Note we do not have shoe tags this year. Instead, star or print out your membership confirmation email to have handy when on the courts.

Stay tuned for COVID-19 protocols.

With the announcement on Thursday May 14, 2020, we learned that tennis courts can open. As a community tennis club, we operate via a permit given by the City of Toronto. As of today (May 21, 2020), we do not yet have this permit. We hope to receive the permit this week which will include our specific operating guidelines.

You may notice that the nets are up and we are preparing to play! Memberships will only be available online and will be opened up soon. Please bear with us as we transition to online membership and prepare for safe play.

Looking forward to getting on court!
